# Checkout redirects to Non-SSL Page

Hello Everyone,
I am currently setting up my store and wanted to test the checkout process. Whenever I click the Checkout Button the website doesn’t go any further and just shows a spinner.
Upon further investigation my browser console prints the following error:
> Mixed Content: The page at ‚[https://paarspass.eu/11/lush-2.0](https://paarspass.eu/11/lush-2.0)‘ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint ‚[http://paarspass.eu/checkout/ajaxAddArticleCart](http://paarspass.eu/checkout/ajaxAddArticleCart)‘. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS
It seems as if the checkout wants to call a non-https url for the checkout. My whole website is set up to use SSL and I couldn’t find any configuration for redirects of the checkout URL.
Anyone had any similar experience?

Hi,
I have seen this issue before. If you use the default theme it still showing the spinner?
