# Automatic assign picture to the product

Hi guys

I have several thousand products and pictures. I want to assign a picture to product automatically. My idea is to update the product in the MySQL database with the picture link, however Shopware 5.2 is not keeping the pictures in a single folder but in subfolder automatically generated by the hash.&nbsp;

Is there a way to handle this?&nbsp;&nbsp;

You would have to look into the API, and let Shopware to manage the images.
