# Assign order status automatically

Hi,

I’ve created a number of new statuses following this tutorial [https://en-community.shopware.com/Tutorial-Creating-new-order-and-payment-states\_detail\_1951.html](https://en-community.shopware.com/Tutorial-Creating-new-order-and-payment-states_detail_1951.html) and everything fine so far but I would like to assign certain statuses to some situations for exaple depending on the payment method selected or the stock available, unfortunately I can’t see the way to achieve this, is this possible?

Hi Roberto,

You’d most likely need some extra logic in a plugin to achieve this.
