# Adding a new Element Setting in a Custom Block

Hello all,

I want to add a new setting for an element in a Custom Block.

For example:

- When I go to **Shopping Experiences,** click on a **Layout ,&nbsp;** add new B **lock** and then&nbsp;I choose the **Images** category and then when I press the **Setting** icon of the Image it shows the settings like: Display Mode, Minimum height, etc. And now I want to do is **add new fields** like: Maximum height, Background Color, Text Size, etc.

Does anyone know how to do that?
