# Ableitung von Shopware Entity im Core

Hallo, weiß das vielleicht jemand.

Könnte man bspw. eine eigene Entität von einer bestehenden im Shopware Core ableiten und dann gewährleisten, dass Shopware selbst nur mehr mit die abgeleitete Entität verwendet?

Fiktives Beispiel:  
class MyCategoryEntity extends CategoryEntity  
{  
public function getExternalLink(): ?string  
{  
return „[https://www.mydomain.de](https://www.mydomain.de)“;  
}  
}
